Just a dusting. Been interesting to see the ground freeze and frost cover the ground. The earth here has been preparing itself for winter. And now it’s here. It snowed a half an inch yesterday and today it was blustery. I do not pick up the poop late at night when it is dark and yet to snow because I can’t see it. But I do see it in the morning.
The wind was rolling the manure balls around, distancing them from one another and making them difficult to pick up. I found myself growing impatient because I was hungry, but I did my usual good job of picking up what was out there.
Tyra is better. I did not see any splatty piles today but rather solid piles and some water. So we now have a routine that includes giving her a probiotic, feeding her hay three times a day, and not letting her eat cow parsnip or leaves. She remains pretty chipper. Still, I am worried about her.
No word yet about her fecal sample and if she has parasites. |
