Cursive writing is out. The young do not know how to do this. Odd, I never equated it with having to learn it – I just assumed this was something that you did because you reached a certain grade level. But no, it must have to be taught and now, instead, students are taught or prefer to use computers.
I am working at not thinking like an old person, but others assume that I do think this way. I am going to work hard to dispel the myth – and I hope that someone notices.
Yes, it felt like spring because the high schoolers have their prom next Saturday. It sounds pretty humane – one on one dating is now group dating – friends go with friends. And the junior and senior proms are at the same time.

I did not go to either my junior or senior prom because it was a one-on-one deal, and I did not of course have a steady boyfriend. Would I have gone if I had a steady eddy? No, most likely not. I wasn’t into dressing up, but knowing me, I would have come up with something unusual.

She is adventure horse, the one up for going anywhere new and exciting, as evidence by the fact that she ran up several driveways and also clamored over a berm. But each and every time, she came back to me either of her own volition or because I called her.
Of course, I am torn because I got myself into the Summer in the Park(s) program and I would just as soon go horse trekking. Well, Pete says that if funding for Summer in the Park(s) does not materialize, we won’t do this, and in which case we will go horse trekking.
