I woke up with good intentions, and once again, I followed through until evening. I first completed the fall harvest, by picking the remainder of the tomatoes, apples, and peas. Least I think they were the remainder. There could be more out there. I intend to go out tomorrow, early, and see what I might have missed.
I returned inside and I cut up all the tomatoes, then went back outside and harvested basil.
It was a beautiful day, which was why I got outside and first rode Hrimmi and then, after lunch, rode Raudi. Both were slow. There is still enough grass left to distract them. They now have their winter coats, which makes them ponies, which means they think they have permission to be bad ass.
I had intended to ride them.
Next, I went to U Haul and grabbed several boxes of hard covered duplicate books. We are out of children’s books. I lost sleep last night thinking about what I was going to ask the volunteers to do this week. It makes for a more cohesive atmosphere, having a specific task for people to do. The remedial students are going to clean the floppy chapter books.
I took an hour and got the books and everything in order. Then I went to the Big Dipper Ice Cream store and stocked their shelves. I then came home.
Now here is where I failed. My plan was to keep going and get stuff done around here in the evening. I was going to clean my workspace and put away the laundry and maybe clean a saddle or two. At least this was the plan. This didn’t happen because after dinner I felt too tired to tackle all the above mentioned things that I’d intended to do.
Pete and I did come up with a flier for the upcoming BLBP dog events. Now I will spend the next two weeks promoting both activities. I just thought of something – I can have Kid’s Kupboard supply brown bag lunches.
So the road is again paved. Can I follow it? I would not venture a guess.
I do not know why I am so tired in the evenings. Here I am, at the computer, nearly falling asleep again. Last night I didn’t sleep. But I will sleep tonight, for sure.
