I told Josh before he left how impressed I am with his work. For instance, I laid out a dozen pairs of horseshoes, the one’s we’d used in the past, and he was able to determine which shoes had been on which horses. Then he was able, using the anvil, to better shape the shoes to fit Tyra and Hrimmi. And he also made new shoes with new boron calks for Raudi. It takes a certain mindset to be able to do this – and all the while he was talking with Pete about guy things. I could hardly get a word in edgewise, but I did not care. I was glad to have Pete give me a hand. When he was holding Hrimmi for Josh, I was able to take Tyra for a walk.
Josh finished at 12:45 p.m. We were scheduled to be at the hotel at noon, but got there late, so one of the volunteers, in our absence, showed up and left.
I decided to work on the books that had been designated to be put on eBay. I pulled out the no goes and put the others in a box marked eBay. I hope that I can soon find someone to list these books. There will not be very many.
I got home before dark and began doing the exact same thing with our books; determining which should go on eBay and which should be distributed. It was a long, slow process. It’s now 11:13 p.m. Shortly, it will be Christmas. I have no plans except to keep sorting books.
