In the morning we cleaned gear, consulted maps, watched horses graze, took photos of cows, and fetched water for horses. In the afternoon, we returned to Taylor Park Corral Campsite, via the long road rather than crossing the creek. My thinking was that this would be more convenient a place for Chad to shoe the horses. It was an unpleasant ride. We had to contend with ATVs and road dust on the road. The horses were okay with it all, but Pete and I, less so. |
